The story follows Shizuka Satomi, a ruthless violin teacher who made a pact with the devil to secure her fame, but needs to deliver the souls of seven violinists in return. She struggles to find her final soul until she meets Katya, a transgender runaway with a great talent for violin, and they form an unlikely friendship. Meanwhile, a donut maker from another planet is also trying to escape her past and ends up being a point of connection between Katya and Shizuka.
