Marcus Yallow is a tech-savvy teenager and the protagonist of ‘Little Brother’ by Cory Doctorow. Caught in the wrong place at the wrong time during a terrorist attack on San Francisco, Marcus and his friends are wrongly detained and mistreated by the Department of Homeland Security. After his release, Marcus becomes determined to fight against the invasive government surveillance and control over the city. With his knowledge of technology and a strong sense of justice, Marcus leads a rebellion against the oppressive security forces, eventually becoming a symbol of hope for the citizens of San Francisco.
