Six Wakes by Mur Lafferty is a murder mystery set on a spaceship. The story starts with the six crew members of the spaceship Dormire waking up from their cloning vats to find their previous bodies brutally murdered and no memory of what happened. As the crew investigate, they uncover past scandals, secrets, and betrayals that put into question the ethical implications of cloning and AI. Tensions rise, personalities collide, and mutual suspicion grows as they try to uncover who is the killer among them before they strike again.
