Plague Birds is a hauntingly beautiful fusion of science fiction and fantasy. In a world devastated by biological warfare, human-animal ‘splicers’ fight for survival and sanctity. The protagonist, Crista, is a Plague Bird, a human-animal-human splice who works as a deadly defender and judge, deciding who lives and who dies.
