Piranesi lives in the House, an enormous labyrinth of statues-filled halls. The House has infinite rooms and hallways, its exits open to vast, flooded landscapes and cloudy skies. Piranesi records everything meticulously, including the tides, which dictate the House’s routine. His peace is interrupted when he realizes there’s another person in the House, a malignant force who might pose a threat to the House’s existence and Piranesi’s sanity.
