In ‘A Catalog of Storms,’ author Fran Wilde creates a world where Weatherworkers control the elements but must be controlled by Regulators to prevent them from becoming Storms. The story follows three sisters, one of whom, Val, becomes a Weatherworker. As Val’s powers become uncontrollable, turning her into a Storm, her younger sister, Nonny, and her older sister Char, do everything they can to bring her back. The themes of love, sacrifice, and family are beautifully woven into this gripping novel.
